Keylabs 1.90 Release Notes
It is now possible to simultaneously select multiple objects in the editor.
To select multiple objects, press and hold the left mouse button anywhere in the editor window and then drag the pointer to draw the selection frame. Every object completely contained in the selection frame will be selected.
Finally, drawing the selection frame while holding down the Ctrl key will add all the objects that are completely contained in the frame to the current selection instead of replacing the current selection (if all objects contained in the frame are already selected, they will be removed from the selection instead).
When multiple objects are selected, keyframe indicator will show empty diamond to indicate that none of the selected objects has a keyframe on the current frame, full diamond to indicate that all the selected objects have a keyframe on the current frame, or half-full diamond to indicate that only some of the selected objects have a keyframe on the current frame.
Clicking the keyframe indication will create keyframes for all the objects that are missing a keyframe on the current frame, or if all the selected objects have a keyframe on the current frame, will delete the current keyframe for all of the selected objects.
When navigating to the previous or the next keyframe, the editor will jump to the nearest preceding or following frame that contains a keyframe for any of the selected objects.
When multiple objects are selected, most operations may be performed on the entire group. This includes deleting objects, making them visible or invisible, converting to a different object type, etc. Some operations (for example: redraw, merge / split), may be limited or unavailable for multiple selection.
Multiple selected objects may also be moved all together, but otherwise editing multiple objects as a bulk is not supported.
The object attributes form cannot be used when multiple objects are selected, but this will be addressed in the next version.
It happens to many novice and also experienced users that they accidentally press the ctrl key while rotating the mouse wheel over the editor trying to zoom the image in or out. As a result, the entire page gets scaled by the browser instead.
Starting from this version, scaling the page on ctrl+wheel over the editor area will be prevented. Users can still scale the whole page using the ctrl+wheel combination while the pointer hovers over the application header or over any other form or page except the editor.
The “Timetable - Aggregated” report now displays only the current month by default; that is: Start Time filter is initially set to the first of the current month instead of being empty.
Alternatively, you can click an object (both in the editor window and in objects list) with the left mouse button while holding down the Ctrl key to add it to the selection or, if already selected, to unselect it.
