🔧Toolbox

The working window of the "Editor" consists of a Toolbar and a File processing field.

The Toolbar is further divided into three sections: Information panel, File management tools buttons, and Frame location buttons.

The Information panel displays the platform name, section selection button, section name, project name, project file name, shift time timer, total working time timer, shift timer on/off button, and screen theme selection panel (auto, dark, and light). It also shows the surname and name of the employee who logged into the platform.

You can exit the Working Window by clicking Logout in the drop-down list:

  • YES, END Shift - go to the Platform Entrance Window with the timer of the current shift switched off;

  • NO - go to the Platform Entrance Window with the current shift timer switched on;

  • CANCEL - stay in the Working Window.

To return to the Task Window, just press the MY TASKS inscription.

Information about the file, tools for processing, and frame control buttons are located on the Editor's toolbar.

Buttons can be roughly divided into different groups based on the type of application they are used for:

  • preparing an image for annotation;

  • communication;

  • object/attribute processing;

  • file management;

  • frame location.

Communication buttons

IconFunctionDescription

Manual

The project-specific manual contains information about the project's purpose, tasks, and general requirements.

Comments

Comments indicator

The icon indicator signals the presence of comments for processing. Clicking it opens the "Comments" window with a filter panel: Status (open/processed/verified), Type (internal/public), Frame (frame number to which the comment refers), Object (object number to which the comment refers), Message (message text, there is a filter of comments by keywords in messages), Created (date of comment creation, allows selecting a specific date of comment creation), Updated (date of comment update, allows selecting a specific date of comment update). Comments can be queued in alphabetical order and by creation date or update.

This function is most often used by verifiers.

It opens the "New comment" window, which contains the following attributes: Frame (number, which is formed automatically from the frame number on which the comment is created), Message (message text), Status (open, processed, verified), and Type (internal or public can be selected).

Buttons for preparing an image for annotation

These buttons are used to set up the image and tools for convenient and accurate annotation of objects.

Frame scaling is performed by the mouse scroller when the cursor is active on the image. To return the frame to its original scale, use the [Esc] button on the keyboard.

The accuracy of marker point location can be improved by brightening the image, switching the arrow to the crosshairs, overlaying the grid on the image, and smoothing pixels when zooming in.

The settings set on the toolbar in the Editor are saved when proceeding to the next file

IconFunction

Mini-map

Clicking this icon calls up the mini-map where you can see a thumbnail image of the entire picture you are working with, and highlights current working zone.

Coordinates

Coordinates show the location of the mouse cursor on the image

Measure distance

This function activates the Ruler tool to measure the distance in pixels. For instance, you can use it if the task is to annotate objects that meet specific criteria, such as a minimum object height of 30 pixels.

Layers

This function allows the user to adjust the opacity of the given layers of an image by dragging the slider of a layer. The layers toolbar will not be shown if layers are not used in the project.

Color adjustment

This feature enables users to adjust settings for brightness, contrast, and color. Each parameter's slider can be moved right or left to modify the value, and a 100% button to the right of the slider resets the default value.

Smooth the picture when zooming in

Do not smooth the picture when zooming in

This function switches the picture smoothing function when the picture is being zoomed in

Grid

This function switches the pixel grid display on and off. To adjust the grid size, right-click on the grid toggle button and select the desired size from the menu. “1 px” option is always in the menu, and if the minimal object size is configured in the project, that option will also be in the menu for quick selection. Current grid size will also be present in the menu, so the user can see what size is selected.

Show crosshairs

Do not show the crosshairs

This function switches between cursor and crosshairs.
