A worker role on the Keylabs platform typically refers to a set of permissions and responsibilities assigned to a specific type of user. User roles are assigned based on the person's role in the annotation process. One example of a user role on an annotation platform is an annotator.
The worker can work only on an assigned project and see only reports and statistics about this user's performed work.
An annotator typically reviews and annotates data, such as images and videos. In addition, they may be required to identify and mark specific features or objects within an image. They may also be responsible for providing additional context or explanations for their annotations if needed.
Other user roles in an annotation platform may include validators, who review and validate annotations made by annotators. They oversee the annotation process, and ensure quality control.
